Popular, or non-popular?

Sat Aug 12, 2006, 8:57 AM
I actually think that alot of more people here on DA needs more time in the spotlight. There are so many talented artists that don't get the attencion they really need, instead, alot of people almost subscribe to other artists work and simply "forget" to seek new artists. I mean nothing bad to those people, they do an amazing job and i respect them for that, but it often feels like when a photo or other things get very "popular" here on DA, the masses seem to fill in on the positive comments, when there are alot of other people that, what i think, need encouragement.

I have'nt got alot of comments on my stuff here at DA, and that feels abit downcoming actually. I think that sometimes we need the see beyond the technichal aspects of a photo and such, and try too see what the photo or other art really says, since art is an expressive form of talent. Many people, including me, often try to get down emotions and feelings in the work that they/I do. And that's actually hard, and it's often it only means something to person who created that piece of art or took that amazing shot. But as long as it means something to someone, and as long as someone can get the opportunity to see what you create it got a meaning. It might not be an emotional meaning or so, but as said, it always has a meaning as long as someone can see what you create.

I'll try to comment as much as I can on peoples work, and i feel like start looking after more "underground" work here, since there are so many talented artists here, and i hope more people get to see my work here on DA, and i hope more people will comment also.
